TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 
Prices include taxes, local VAT (24%), third party insurance, unlimited kilometers, road assistance and Santorini road map,
Free of charge second driver and baby seats.

1. Age Requirements

The minimum age to rent a vehicle is 23 years of age for vehicles of all categories, except of AUDI A3 and JEEP WRANGLER which is 25 years of age.

2. Driver’s License

A national or international driving license issued by the country of residence of the renter at least two years before rental date and valid during the tenancy.
Cars / Atvs / Buggies need Category B’ license.
For Motocycles 125cc category A1’, 150cc category A2’ and 200cc category A’.

*Please bear in mind that we do not accept photos or copies of the driver’s license. The driver should have the original license.

3. Insurance policy
Collision Damage Waiver (C.D.W) covers damages that cost above the deductible amount. You should take into account that the deductible amount is defined on the lease contract and the company may increase this amount with regard to the age of the driver or if it necessary for any other reason.
Buggies and Atvs: Driving ONLY on road, NOT off road (beach or rough surfaces).
If you disobey our instructions and cause any kind of damage to our vehicles you will have to pay the penalty. Additionally, if we need to come and tow you, then there will be an extra charge.

Full Collision Damage Waiver (F.C.D.W.) insurance is not available in our company.

The above are NOT VALID in case of:
* Loss or damage of vehicle keys.
*Damage to the bottom or roof of the vehicle.
* Damage on the tires and mirrors of the vehicle.
* Damage due to driving off-road or on the beach and generally on rough surfaces and terrains.
* Damage due to driving under the influence of alcohol or other substances.

The customer is obliged to immediately report to our company any damage to the vehicle and the conditions it took place.
In case of an accident or collision, you have to report us immediately, we contact with the road assistance company and they come at the accident place to make the statement.
In case of damage or accident outside of the road network or on the beach, you are obliged to pay of your own the road company assistance, for the tow expenses.

4. Fines and Penalties

All traffic fines and penalties are under the renter’s responsibility.
The renter should pay the fine to the Greek Public Authorities.

The Greek law requires for all the bikes (BUGGY, ATV and SCOOTER) that the second passenger must be at least 16 years old, if he is younger then the company holds no responsibility.

5. Geographic Limitations

Driving is restricted strictly on the island of Santorini only.

6. Fuel Policy

The vehicle should be returned with the same amount of fuel as it was received. If it is returned with less quantity of fuel, then the customer should pay the value of the missing fuel. Unleaded type of fuel is to be used only (except of JEEP WRANGLER and PEUGEOT RIFTER are diesel).

7. Car interior
The interior of the car must be kept clean and at the same position as rented , without sand or deep stains that require special cleaning.

8. Payment Methods

The customer can pay for the rental, cash or credit with Mastercard or Visa and preferably not American Express. Not accepted Prepaid / Electron / Maestro cards.
Credit card data is kept as a guarantee.
NO CARD SECURITY DEPOSIT needed.

9. Cancellation Policy
You can get back your advance payment in case you cancel your booking 48 hours before your arrival in Santorini or more. In case you try to cancel in less than 48 hours before you arrive in Santorini, your advanced payment will not be returned.
10. Rental Duration
The rental charge is one full day (24 hours). If there is an overtime delivery, an extra charge of one fifth (1/5) on the daily price is calculated for every extra hour. If the difference is more than three hours, then a whole day is charged.
If the vehicle is returned earlier than 24 hours, there will be no refund back.

*Please bear in mind that due to excessive load of new orders every day, the company could not accept only 1 day rental during the high season (21/7-15/9).

In addition, in case the customer wants to change a vehicle, no refund will be given if the new vehicle is cheaper than the booked one.
In case of accident or damage, we change client’s vehicle immediately, but will NOT make a refund due to a price difference between the new and the old vehicle model.

ADDITIONAL COSTS
Pick up/Drop off at Athinios Port or Fira Old Port is 15 euro
Pick up/Drop off at Airport is 10 euro.
Pick up/ Drop off at Oia/Finikia village is 30 euro extra charge for 2 days and up rental and 40 euro for one day rental.

Office working hours are 8.00-20.00.
When vehicle pick up / drop off time is between 20.00 – 00.00 extra cost is 20 euro
When vehicle pick up / drop off time is between 00.00 – 08:00 extra cost is 40 euro

You have a discount only if you reserve a vehicle for 3 days or more.
The company may not apply these discounts within high season period (21/7 -15/9).

Please bear in mind that due to the special conditions (traffic) that take place in the island during high season 21/7-15/9, there may be an extra charge for some specific areas and we will inform you in case of these charges in advance.
